ABOUT ME
BEHIND THE LENS
My name is John McGlathery. I have loved photography all of my life. I try to see the beauty in all situations. I am first and foremost a husband, and parent to my 11 year old son and 5 year old twins. I love my wife and children more than anything, and they are the subjects of numerous hours of photography practice. I have worked with people for most of my life, first in the Foster care world, and now with Sangamon County Probation as the Behavior Health Specialist. I believe that life is full of moments and it is important to live and make the most of those moments. Photography allows me an opportunity to develop my ability to better recognize moments as they occur, and capture those moments in time to create lasting memories for the future. Focus on the Present, Develop from the Past, and Expose for the future.
